im having the same problem, but am at a different stage.
i downloaded a .deb of the kernel sources, and ran dpkg on it. now there's the file linux-source-2.6.10.tar.bz2 in the folder /usr/src
i ran the command:
Code:
ln -s /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.10.tar.bz2 /lib/modules/2.6.10-5-386/build
i doubled check build with my file browser and saw it's like a shortcut to linux-source blah blah and opens it as if it were a bz2
so i went back to my ndis folder, and ran make install, but still got the same error he did.
am i doing something wrong?

as for the problem in the original post, you'll have to find a .rpm file, or if you're using debian, a .deb file for your kernel, try asking for it in a forum dedicated to your distro, that's how i got mine.
