ive installed xandros (dual boot with xp). after checking alittle deeper, in control>networks, I noticed that xandros has indeed recognized my wusb11 wireless-G adapter by Linksys, and when I went to the network setup and typed my network ID, it even found the channel. just like it had found a local network on its own, but still no internet! I even restarted and used internet connection wizard! no help. Im useing DHCP so what the heck is going on?!

There are a number of things that could be going wrong, so lets start at the top and work through a few of the basic ones.

Check the output of iwconfig and make sure that your wireless card is there and properly configured (sometimes the graphical card managers can be misleading so use the console).

If everything looks good there, check the output of ifconfig. That should show your card and its IP address. If you don't see an IP address, have a look in your log files (/var/log/messages and /var/log/syslog) for errors thrown out by DHCP.
