How do you set up (Windows) Wireless network access
I've decided I have no idea what I'm doing...
My university library provides a wireless network, with which I can access the internet for free from my laptop. They even allow you to borrow a wireless network card. They provide a set of strict, yet easy to follow instructions on how to set it up on Windows XP/2000, but nothing for linux.
I tried fiddling with the Network configuration utility that came with my OS, and the wireless settings in the KDE Control Centre, but I can't seem to get anywhere.
Can anyone offer any help? should I post the windows instructions given here?
I'm running Fedora Core 3 on my laptop, with a Linksys Instant Wireless Network PC Card (Model no WPC11).
