I've spent the better part of my last 48 hours and tried several things out and need some help.

I have a gateway 7210GX with Fedora Core 6 (2.6.18-1.2789.fc6). I installed a WPC54G on it on the Windows XP partition and it worked fine. After reading posts, I followed the process of using ndiswrapper and got the drivers to load. I pulled the files (.inf and .sys) from WinXP, ran ndiswrapper and loaded them into the memory.

ndiswrapper didnot return any errors during load. modprobe ndiswrapper returns no errors and everything seems fine. But I'm unable to connect to the wireless network. It doesnot see the SSID. iwlist scanning on the wireless card says Interface doesn't support scanning : No such device.

I've pretty much tried all options and 'am unable to explain this behaviour. Any insight into this or any other alternative suggestions would be appreciated.

Also from http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m...index.php/List site, when I search based the PCIID I see several ones.
