Exclamation Cannot connect to wireless network with wicd on Zenwalk

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hi.
I am trying to connect to my wireless network using a Belkin N1 USB adapter. the adapter works, thanks to ndiswrapper, and wicd finds all the networks in the vicinity, but when I try to connect to mine, it has a little bar down the bottom that shows a little bit of activity, but then does nothing, and it remains disconnected. My network uses WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, and the router is a Belkin N1 +MIMO router. Can somebody help, Please!

Welcome!

First, have you set the connection parameters? (in the "advanced" tab for each connection detected by WICD)

The issue I am struggling with is that I often have to re-boot my router because it seems to remember all of my various connections---even when the particular computer has been disconnected for days.
