Belkin F5D6001 Wireless PCI Adapter and the Realtek RTL8180L

Has anyone had any luck getting Realtek RTL8180L working on the 2.4.22 kernel?
Ive got the driver compiled and installed but when I insert the module i.e.

# insmod rtl8180_24x.o

I get the error: "Segmentation Fault"

lsmod does report the module as 'initialising' but the machine crashes.

Any help much appreciated....

I got the same problem. Try ndiswrapper and driver from You will need Bel6001.INF and (edited pci ID in inf file) BEL6001.sys or rtl8180.sys files. I got my card working! Let me know if you need detail.
