QEMU Virtual Machine Manager on OpenSuse Tumbleweed

I'm on OpenSuse tumbleweed. It is fully up to date. I have KVM QEMU installed and I'm trying to start Virtual Machine Manager from Konsole with sudo (it does the same thing when I do it without sudo, but it think it asks for the root password). When I do I get the following error message:

Code:
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
Error starting virt-manager: No graphical display found
I have been doing searches on this error, but I haven't found anything yet. I added my username to the libvirt group.

EDIT: Merry Christmas!

is "sudo" set up ?
and is your normal user in the sudo'ers list

is the service running ?

you need to be root to launch libvirt and libvirt-guest

open yast2 and type in the root password
then click on services manager and make sure they are enabled and running

sudo is set up, I use it to run updates.

libvirtd was active and enabled and libvirt-guests was inactive and disabled. I enabled and activated libvirt-guests

When I started Yast, i did just do Virtualization > Install Hypervisor and Tools > Install KVM server and tools. I already had qemu installed and I thought it pulled in everything I needed, but I guess there was more to it. After a reboot, the two fixes together fixed this. Thank you for pointing me to Yast!
