QEMU and Virtual Machine Manager

I read somewhere that Virtual Machine Manager could be used to manage qemu virtual machines. Is this true? How would I get this setup?

I am trying to find an alternative to XEN or Virtualbox. I need some open source virtualization software that will boot from the hard drive, not a virtual disk. From what I have seen, XEN and qemu can do this, but XEN doesn't support my graphics drivers (or my graphics drivers don't support the XEN kernel).

Is there any relationship between XEN and qemu? When I was installing qemu, I noticed that I had an option to select qemu****-xen from the Yast package manager. Does this have any significance?

Thank you,

JF

You might take a look at kvm.
