Qemu Guest Agent or Puppet?
I need to freeze/thaw my KVM guest to make a LVM snapshot. Can this be done with Puppet or only with Qemu Guest Agent?

If you can script it then puppet can do it. But that's really not the sort of thing puppet is designed for. Puppet defines the state of a system. How it should look. Executing scheduled tasks has no place in this.
