Zaurus file syncing app

All I want is an app to sync files over the dock to my Zaurus in Linux. The original Trolltech QT Desktop is only for Winblows and the new Trolltech QTD is in an rpm (and I'm not using an standrad rpm distro -rh-, I'm using slackware)

So. Does anyone know of a prog that will let me move files over to the Zaurus (5500). It's tiring having to go to another computer to do this. I don't care about email/address/organizer syncing, just the files. Anyone have an ideas?

I think you may be SOL. In your situation I would get a CF card reader and use a cf card to move the files back and forth. You would have to determine what files contained address and calendar information and the like, but I imagine it could be done.
I thought I saw a Java based sync utility on the Killefiz site. See my sig for a link. Good luck.

I do a backup once a week onto CF, into a card reader and then I have the complete Zaurus on my Linux machine. This works fine for individual files or directories.

There must be other ways but this is the way I know of moving files to and from Zaurus.

I too use a card reader to transfer files to and from my Z. Also a wireless connection to my LAN works great.

Also, take a look at Kitchen Sync . I have never tried it out, but it could be the solution. (If anyone does try it out, I'd be interested it hearing your thoughts on it )

Is there any possibility of putting in RPM support to your version of Slackware???

I know most people like to avoid RPM hell when they use a Debian-based distro, but adding RPM support in as a hack might be the only real viable solution...

Can it be done?!??!??
