I've been trying to update my Fedora Core 3 server to 4 and then to 5 using yum but have run into a snag. The upgrade to 4 went relativley well but I now can't use yum to upgrade to 5. When I run "yum update" now I get the following:

Setting up repositories
livna [1/4]

I takes about 5 or so minutes to die and yum pegs the CPU and memroy the whole time. Any ideas.
Please let me know if there is any other info I can provide. Thanks.
try updating sqlite. What version do you have installed?
You're amazing! I had the latest version of sqlite (3.3.3-1.2) but I had an old version of python-sqlite. I upgraded python-sqlite to version 1.1.7-1.2 and VOILA yum is upgrading on it's merry way!
Thank you so much for your help! I fought with this one quite a while!
