Xvid For SuSE 9.1 Personal Edition


I have a new Xvid avi movie I need to play. It's opens and starts to play, I hear a little bit of sound but the screen is black. I noticed that it was an Xvid avi and need the rpm to install xvid for the video player. If this doesn't work then it's probably a faulty download. Any Help would be much appreciated

That's odd, you should be able to see the video, even if it is XviD, ffdshow should be able to decode it, albeit not well. I had a battle with XviD awhile ago, but I outlined everything I needed to do to get it to work in a thread, so you might want to check it out here. Hope that helps
