xmms+system tray


hey guys
i wondering if anybody knows a way i get get xmms off my iconbar and onto my systemtray in fluxbox 9.9.10. having it on my iconbar is an eyesore seeing how i use xmms shaded right above it.

It can't be done. I haven't been here that long and I must have seen this question like ten times or so. There's a plugin to get a tray icon, but it can't be removed from the taskbar.

Check out the FluxBox site. There are 2 utilities you should look at: FluxConf and fbDesk. It seems to be a matter of editing some config file to get what you want.

bigrigdriver: ive used both those programs in the past. neither of them help me out , fbdeskis just for icons and is way too buggy, and fbconf is just a frontend for editing the .fluxbox init file

you need to use the apps file and read the flubox manuals - it all in there
