I have just moved to gnome as i find its faster and has better features than KDE. However I still like to run kopete and apollon and I would like to know if there is a way they can live in the gnome toolbar like they dod the kde one.
Well, this is a bit late since I just stumbled in here during a search, but yes, there's a way. Check out a small app called kdetrayproxy. When it's running, KDE apps will appear in the Gnome system tray.
