i use the 'top' command in console and start xmms,in the process of starting xmms, all things have frozen, after that,i saw 'top' command column XFree86 use the CPU 99%,after the XFree86 use the cpu cool down and the xmms have started. Is it the XFree86 problem?
"top" in kde nothing happen, xmms start so quickly.
in gnome, xmms start all things will frozen, so the "top" cann't change at that time, when xmms have started,"top" show XFree86 use CPU 99%~
