Nope but I lost the need to because the new version of gnome (2.8) is so sweet that it auto detects all the devices and auto mounts everyting you plug in anyways. Why did you want it?
OK. If you do find out how to install Xandros File Manager into Debian, please let me know.

Having a problem installing a new program?
Software info does not suffer from info decrepitude like some human beings brains do.
I guess some. Like me. Enjoy having some kind of answer.
Instead of some kind of critique.
rokytnji, that was entirely the right answer.
esp. since patrick295767 wrote their post as if op was still looking for a solution.
tbh, i have no idea what corel file manager has to do with xandros file manager, or what the links you added have to do with either.
if you feel like explaining that with more clarity? i say that without irony, honestly.
or then, we could also just continue trolling each other for a few more posts...
The amazon link is, if you download it, and look inside the folder after you extract it, is the source file for Xandros File Manager.
Does this ignorant scooter tramp biker have to explain everything?
Troll away if you wish. I find it silly though that grown ups can only criticize. Point out faults. Like freaking hall monitors looking for a hall pass. Instead of lending a helping hand.
SHEESH
Sourceforge links are Xandros Isos

i partly agree. but it's pretty much business as usual, isn't it?
it's actually much more fun when somebody makes a perfectly understandable, but logically wrong statement - some uber-nerd always jumps up and points that out. numbers are stronger than social conventions.
however in this special case, what's the point in lending a helping hand to someone who had a problem 11 years ago.
i actually find it important to point that out (not "finding fault") because who knows, otherwise i probably wouldn't have noticed how old this thread is and wrecked my brain to understand what the situation is...
Let me explain so maybe you can understand. I own a laptop that is one of the 1st laptops ever made.
When I did research on it. I did not care if the info was 20 years old. Because it still applied to that laptop. If someone updated the info in that 20 year old link to current times. So much the better for me.
This thread does not supply info for the OP. I could care less about the original poster. It supplies info on how the hell to find a way to install Xandros File Manager in another distro. My links at least show where one can extract the file manager out of the Xandros Iso. Or build from a Source file download. Something missing in this thread.
yeah, i get it.
just for lulz i donloaded the eeepc iso and fired it up in a vm.
interesting. there's the file manager. it all looks very much like windows, while actually being kde.
