X crashing

I have a 82915G Intel Graphics Controller on my intel motherboard and when I play a game or on working on the computer for a while the kde session just crashes and I can't do anything to the computer besides restarting. I've been doing some research but I could not find a solution.

Do you have this in your kernel .config

CONFIG_AGP_INTEL=y
CONFIG_DRM_I915=y
Code:
*> Direct Rendering Manager (XFree86 4.1.0 and higher DRI support)
< >   3dfx Banshee/Voodoo3+
< >   ATI Rage 128
< >   ATI Radeon
< >   Intel I810
<*>   Intel 830M, 845G, 852GM, 855GM, 865G (i915 driver)  --->
see if this helps;
