KDE crashing
Anybody having any issues with KDE crashing on 2006? I keep getting
The application KDE Daemon (kded) crashed and caused the signal 8 (SIGFPE)
Any idea what this may be?

That's not KDE itself - KDE Daemon is the Kat desktop search engine. Even after it crashes you should still be able to run KDE normally, and if you don't use it you should disable it anyway because its a big resource hog.

This was reported on wikki. Their are 2 thing you sould do to fix the problem.
1. Un-install kat.
2. right-click on the panel>configure panel goto the menus tab and unselect eveything in Optional Menus.
They are working on a fix for this. I havn't had any crashes after I did these 2 thing. Before that I was ready to go back to 10.2 but now Im happay as a pig in *&^^**
