Unhappy wvdial problems in arch

Hello all, I am in the process of switching distros, and at the moment, I have just basic arch linux with X. I need to download some files in order to set up kde, but I can't seem to get wvdial to work. I have made the config file, and it seems to connect, but I can't get anything to load in firefox. Any ideas?

" but I can't get anything to load in firefox."

What message does firefox show at the bottom of the screen?

"I have made the config file"

Could you post your /etc/wvdial.conf with the password xxxxxx out.

"it seems to connect"

Could you post the messages generated by wvdial startup?
