[SOLVED] Wine VB problems

Tried to run a program in Wine that uses VB runtime.
Installed all the VB runtime modules including those of version 5 and 6, but it still comes up with threed32.ocx is "not installed or is not registered properly".
Any way to get around this or is trying to run VB programs under Wine a lost cause?

Hello SLW210, Thanks for that. As per the instructions I downloaded ole2v.exe and mfc40.cab and renamed the former to lower case and made the directory "~/.cache/winetricks/mfc40/", copied the files there and then installed via the terminal with the command "winetricks mfc40" without errors.
Now have the error "MHOUTB32.OCX is not registered correctly......."
I am not sure whether this represents progress or not.
Anyone got any idea as to what this is all about?

Hello SLW210, Just an update. Installed another VB program that would not run before and that runs fine now. So obviously the fix did the trick, but the program I am having the problem with is not installed properly. So sorry about that and thank you, your suggestion did work. Paul.
