Wine installs a game then Wine itself disappears

I used Wine to get a game going, and as soon as it shows that game in a "wine - programs - (game name) folder, wine disappears. I no longer see the control panel, or configure it, file manager, nothing, it's GONE!
I can't install it again, being it says everything is installed.
So, what happened here?
I have a second game I want to try out, but when I click on the setup, it tells me what I want to open this with, which of course, there is no 'wine'.

I'm using MandrivaLinux2006 power dvd pack
