Question Wine and .exe-files ?!

Hello you,

I'm actually trying to install a windows-program under Linux (SUSE 8.2) using wine but it doesn't work. The setup file is an .exe executable and I read in the manual that wine would have problems with such files. Now my question is: has there been made up an extension by now which enables wine to execute .exe-files? If there is, where I can find it?
Tanks for yor help!

Bye, Lea

I want to run the install.exe file of OpenGL and I'm typing 'wine (directory)/install.exe' but the reply is "Cannot determine executable type for C:\OpenGL\install.exe"

Try this: wine "c:\OpenGL\install.exe" (include the quotes)
