Window's games in VMware Server

Will the first Sims play in VMware Server? Can anyone tell me without guessing? I know that games with certain 3d features can't play in VMware Server, but I am not sure about this one.

Certain 3d features? How about any 3d features. Vmware doesnt emulate a 3d card. No 3d games.

"The original sims is not 3d."

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?

So I'm just imagining that you play the game from a 3rd person view in which people walk around in a 3d environment and you click on them?

If it's not 2d and sidescolling, it's 3d.

You sure?

I have never run across a piece of Windows software that wouldn't run in VMWare if it would run in a native Windows environment.

This is not to say it would run fast enough to be useful - particularly if it was graphics intensive - but it would run.

VMware Server allows you to connect to virtual machines on a different computer on the same network, so the answer is yes, VMware Server does let you use software from across the network.
