hello everyone i have a problem my urmpi database is locked
why it`s locked? how to unlocked it i tryed so command which i found here but after restart its same, how to unclok permenatli i am using a mandriva spring version thank you for your help
Can you post exactly what you entered in the terminal. It should be as simple as starting a terminal, entering the command "su -" (without quotes) and then entering the urpmi commands you want.

You will then be asked for roots password. Once you have successfully entered roots password and the system shows roots command prompt, you can then enter the commands you wish to run as root.
