which download tools do you have? wget so slowly.


My desktop system is linux, I like it because no virus and blue-screen on windows so I can work in work.

wget downloads file too slowly, no multi-download function, which download do you have? I means to be have a good speed. like Flashget.

D4x is a not bad download tools in GUI. but d4x is not enought good. any better download tools ?

What are you trying to download? Perhaps try 'gftp' for a classic ftp style download client.

If you're comfortable using the Unix command line, you might like lftp. You may already have it on your system. It will open several concurrent net connections and, to speed things up further, it will batch together several commands in one network packet (but you have to set this up specially). Lftp has a long man page.

yes , sometimes the best and only choice is command line, when my fingers touch a keyboard , I feel good. look green screen(now maybe black ground and white words), hehe , like a hacker...

gftp is not enought good. it seems no multi download for a one job.
lftp can multi download for a one job, but I dont' know how to use it, as you say, it's man page so long.

my english is so poor, I learn english from this forum than linux.
