What is address book for OO.o 2.0

What is the default address book for OO.o 2.0 (or any version) writer? I print envelopes from here and prefer to add addresses an address book so I don't have to keep typing them and can just recall them as needed. I can't find any address book as part of OO. I tried to set up the data base program but got an error msg regarding another java something or other it needed. Is it the program I should use? If not, what is?

In the File menu, select "Wizards" and then "Address Data source". This allows you to set up linkages to a variety of data sources.

OOo needs a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) to do certain things. I would have thought that this would get installed automatically in SUSE10.2. Check /usr/lib/jvm or just search using "find /usr -name jre*" If there is no jre installed, you should be able to do it using the package manager.

Thanks. With that start and the following article, I started a spread sheet address book. I haven't figured out how to get it to work to print envelopes but as least I now have a place to put envelopes that OO.o wil pull from. I am forgetting the data base for now.

Thanks for the direction. I may be back if I still can't get it to work.
