Weird Netconfig Problem

I set:
hostname to localhost

domain to localhost

Static IP to 192.168.1.28

Netmask to 255.255.255.0

and Gateway to 192.168.1.1

Now..heres for the weird part...

It used to work before under these settings. In fact it did on last boot. But now, I don't have access to the internet, and whenever I try to access my routers'address (http://192.168.1.1) it takes me to my apache homepage.

I'm certain its not a hardware issue since the dual boot of winME has perfectly good internet access.

Any ideas?

-Thanks in advance!

What is your output of route?

And have you setup your DNS entries? Set these manually in your /etc/resolv.conf file and if you have a line that starts with search in it, you can remove it.

Put in this format:

nameserver [IP Address Here]
nameserver [IP Address Here]
