Web pages not coming up correctly

Yahoo! mail - the compose page comes up fine but it doesn't show the (Plain | Color and Graphics) option above the text area. None of the text formatting tools are there either. I'm using Firefox but this is also the case in Mozilla. I have virtually every plugin installed.
Am I missing something that's keeping this stuff from showing?

Thanks for the replies.

the only ones i can think of are maybe java or flash.

do those areas produce any errors when rolled over? sort of like when java is not installed, your browser will tell you "java is not installed"

No, nothing shows up at all. You would never even know something was missing if you didn't try in...Internet Explorer.
I checked 'aboutlugins' and it shows all of the shockwave flash plugins from what I can tell. If there was a blanked out object I would just assume it was a missing plugin - but it's perfect! No sign of anything missing at all.
If you can think of anything else I'd certainly appreciate it.
