some web pages are not web opening in linux

I am using Mozilla FireFox,

Some pages are not opening in linux whereas i can open those pages in window very well ( for example the pages are ftp.gtk.org , my yahoo mail box, some pages of oreilly sites)

but i can access my yahoo mail box through konqueror browser where as i cann't access ftp.gtk.org through konqueror.

hmmm try to delete ~/.mozilla directory and then starts mozilla firefox and give a try to yahoo etc.
btw firefox working like a rocket for me

this time yahoo mail box worked i will check it later also,

where ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v2.4/ still doesn't worked but it is working on window computer.

where firefox as there .mozilla for mozilla.
