Unhappy Updating packages error?

Help help... Have no idea why I encounter this error message:
"An Http error occured
"...
"Status Code: 404
"Error Message: Not found

I clicked on the "!" and also tried the "System tools->Red Hat Network" options give me the same error...

Thanks in advance

I haven't used redhat-network in quite a while, but more than likely you haven't registered. You have to
be a registered user w/rhn to do updates.

You don't mention which distro you are using, but if it's current FC1-FC3, then just use "yum" to do your
updates. In a root shell, type "yum update". That's all there is to it. Do a "man yum" for more options.

If you encounter timeout issues, there's a faster yum repository at freshrpms.net. See my other posts
elsewhere on LQ on how to change over to the freshrpms repository...

what version of Fedora are you using coz some people had problems with up2date on core1 and core2 but it seems to work fine on core3. I use apt/synaptic but as mentioned above, yum seems to be the tool that many people use on Fedora to update their systems.
