Add a line for experimental to your sources.list then
apt-get -s install -t experimental gnome gnome-desktop-environment gnome-core ..... just keep adding packages complained about until it will install without complaint remove the -s then to actually install. You may need to use package/unstable in the line for the ones that are not available in experimental I think the line below is correct.
