Have only used Windows on applications that are not compatible with Linux. That is a grand total of one program! I am simply following as a disciple of Linus Torvald's dream of tapping into the open source OS community. The only problem is that I cannot write code. I have an Intel i3 processor with a Gigabyte Motherboard (Model GA-H55M-S2H), 4 GB Ram, 1 TB HD, a dual boot with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10.
Thank you for reminding and directing me to the software center. I have followed the directions to a tee, but have failed to succeed in the install.
Below is my latest attempt. Can anybody make sense of this? If not, I will keep trying for a little while, and I do loathe going to Windows. I am between a rock and a hard place. Need some assistance!
Thanks.
