I thought Thunderbird was an e-mail client, not a browser. In Firefox, there are several different "history" files, mostly SQLite. For one of my profiles, I can see this:
Code:
ls .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/*.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/addons.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/healthreport.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/chromeappsstore.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/permissions.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/content-prefs.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/places.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/cookies.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/search.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/downloads.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/signons.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/extensions.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/similarWebDB.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/forecastfox.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/urlclassifier3.sqlite
.mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/formhistory.sqlite .mozilla/firefox/brva5nxf.Peter/webappsstore.sqlite
I haven't look, but I think I installed the extension for viewing SQLite database files.

Thunderbird

Thunderbird now has a built-in browser to go to the links directly from your email.

In that case I would assume they're found in the ~/.thunderbird/xxxxx.default folder. I have no idea where Windows keeps anything. If in doubt why not ask on a Windows forum? That seems like the logical place to find out.
