Thingamablog for Mac How to config for Blogger

Hi,
I am a newbie to this site and indeed a bit of a thicky when it comes to matters of FTP/blogging etc.

That disclaimer made, please can anybody explain to me in easy step by step, thicky terms how to get Thingamablog configured to work with my Blogger pargliding blog 'Artikulation' at http://flyravey.blogspot.com.

Obviously I have managed to enter the URL, but I am having great difficulty working out what to put into the 'Base path' field and other fields. I thought I had got something working when the program appeared to accept a test post, but then clicking on the post link in the program opens Safari, which reports that the post does not exist, but gives me the option to go 'Home', which does link to my blog homepage. Needless to say, the last post on the blog is the previous one and not my test post.

Can anyone please run me through setting up an established blog, so that I can make posts from Thingamablog which will then publish to my Blogger Blog.

thanks for any help anyone can offer

Dave

Hi,

maybe I'm missing something here but reading the three sentence description on http://www.thingamablog.com/ indicates that you want do something that it is neither designed for nor likely able to do. thingamablog just produces static web pages that can be hosted on any random webserver, not on services like blogger. Note also that this project does not appear to be actively developed with the last release being back in 2009.

Is there any particular reason you are trying to do this?

hanks evo, that makes sense. I was (am) actively searching for a Blog authoring software I can use, similar to MS's 'Live Writer', in order to author my blog entries, save locally, edit etc. at will and upload when I choose. I have seen a few which are not free, but am loathe to pay, find I do not like them and just end up throwing them away. Thanks for your advice, I will continue my quest ;-)
