Systemadm: changing the font-size of its displayed information?

This is on SuSE 12.3 (but systemadm seems to run on other distros with systemd too). It (sort of) replaces the old YAST2 services module as a GUI-interface for managing systemd services.

When it is started the fonts are much too small. I changed the font-size in the KDE-style menu, including the GTK driven applications, to no avail.

Any ideas how I could get a manageable / readable font-size so I can use that program without the help of a magnifying glass? Thanks in advance .

It's been a while since I used OpenSuse. If I remember correctly, what you need to do is set the system level font size instead of application font setting. It was something like System Settings->Application Appearance->Fonts.

I hope this helps.

That is exactly what I did. More precisely: I there chose "adjust all fonts" and then checked "size" and marked "15" and clicked "apply" -- with immediate effect.

Do I have to install Gnome and do it from there?

Perhaps another random fact: The login panel of KDM doesn't react to the increased font size either...

Solved in the course of this thread (German): http://forums.opensuse.org/showthrea...Wie-einstellen.

In short: Probably a glitch in the 12.3 version, mostly taken care of in 13.1. The program seems not to use the values entered in the KDE system configuration menu (neither for KDE nor for Gnome). It still has problems in handling the size of a text window.

Caution: The icon starts the program as normal user, but needs root privileges to change settings. The value for the program start should be changed to "kdesu systemadm".
