Thumbs up swsusp problems 2.6.22.1

s2ram refuses to work because it doesn't identify the system.
$ sudo s2ram -ni
This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor = " "
sys_product = " "
sys_version = " "
bios_version = "6.00 PG"
See en.opensuse.org/S2ram for details.

If you report a problem, please include the complete output above.
If I use s2ram -f, suspend works except the screen stays blank afterwards - i.e. problem with the graphics card and/or driver. I know the system was functional because shutdown -r now worked.

Hardware: Motherboard is a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, NF3-250Gb chipset; Athlon64 3200+; 1GB ram; 300 GB SATA hdd; Nvidia Quadro500 AGP graphics.
