Switch from Gnome 3 to Gnome 2.x

Hello, I started using gnome 3 with Fedora 15 and I really hate how to me it appears to be a cheap rip off of Mac OS X, and I also hate numerous other features (such as the fact that I can only minimize a window by right clicking on the bar because the minimize button is gone). I really, really like Gnome 2.x and I would like to switch back. Now I can't go and downgrade my system, so I need another way to switch back. So how can I go about doing this? I also don't want fallback mode - Real Gnome 2.x. Can someone tell me how I can do this? Thanks.

EDIT: Note: I have a package gnome-desktop-2.32.0-8.fc15.x86_64 installed. I don't know how much help this is though.

that is life with fedora .
Get used to it or use a different distro.

but you might want to do a bit of research and config Gnome3 to your likes

I think Fedora started too soon, and should have waited until Gnome got all the bugs out and all the configuration tools in, but the basic look and feel of Gnome 3 is what the developers have decided will be the future. Your options are

1. Stick with Fedora 14 in the hope that Gnome 3 will be improved by F16, but you say you don't want to do that.
2. Get CentOS 6, hopefully at the end of the month, and that will let you keep Gnome 2 for the next 7 years. But if you want F15 rather than F14, I assume you won't want a recycled F13.
3. Switch to Xfce.

Now we Gnome users know how the KDE users felt when version 4 came out!
