superkaramba configure

I'm trying to install superkaramba from source on Slack 9.

When I run the configure script, I get...
Code:
checking for libxmms... ./configure: line 1: xmms-config: command not found
./configure: line 1: xmms-config: command not found
no
The thing is that I have XMMS installed in a predefined directory (/opt/xmms). I don't think the superkaramba script is picking up the directory, and there is no special configure option that will allow me to specify the xmms directory. Any clues as to what I should do?

Do you mean open the configure file in a text editor and just replace the xmms vars with the literal directory path? I'm not sure, but that may be above my head since it'd be difficult to locate the exact location to place the change. I'll check it out, but anybody know an easier way?

well yes that is what i mean, but it won't be that difficult because there is that neat little feature for finding strings that you specifY so say you do a search for "xmms" or "xmms-config" and it is showing you the occurances and then you see /the/folder/where/configure/thinks/xmms/is you will change it to /the/folder/where/you/know/xmms/is
you can always give it a try...if you screw it up you can always redownload the package or just backup the configure file before attempting it
