I was a happy starcraft palyer about few months ago. The last release of wine that aloowed me to play this superb game was, I think, 200305*. The next ones cause unhandled exceptions just after I start the game. Have a look at this

This is the end. I have read that since Wine 200306** they started to separate kernel32/ntdll. What is the reason for the exceptions???

Hmm... this is a wild-assed guess, but it appears that Wine is trying to run in console mode. Not what you want, for playing games. Perhaps your old wine configuration file got overwritten?

Look in ~/.wine/config for the line:

"GraphicsDriver" = "ttydrv"

Or it may say "console" or something, I'm not sure... it should say:

"GraphicsDriver" = "x11drv"

This happened to my Wine config after an upgrade once. Let me know if this helps

I looked into my wine config file and the graphics driver is x11drv. Thanks you wanted to hepl but the reason is different..,
