wine and starcraft

Ok I got wine installed on my slackware system just fine (I guess).I used winelauncher StarCraft.exe to install starcraft and it completed succesfully. Using that same command I was able to run starcraft but it runs full screen but only in the top left corner in a smaller resolution. Sound doesnt seem to work but I dont care much for that anyway but the game runs extremely slow and I am unable to connect to the internet for online games.

Can anyone point me in the right direction about how to fix this. Ive already read through the how to's and FAQ and man pages and still cant figure it out. Im getting errors about the sound not working - could this cause it to run slow?

I recently came across SCL Beta (StarCraftLinux)

I downloaded it and it was able to install starcraft and broodwar seamlessly. It ran perfectly as if it were running on windows. It allowed me to run starcraft without a disk, in a separate x session, and play multi player (battle.net and Local Area Network.) games

It is still in the early developmental stages and might not work entirely. It worked perfectly for me, so go give it a try.

Future versions will auto detect hardware, will have support for StarCraft2 (will automatically download and install it) and much more. These are just a fraction of the future features (all that I can remember).

Download SCL, run it, PLAY SOME STARCRAFT!!!!!!!

Hi all !
Last time when i was so bored of whole thinks what i do with my PC I want to play Starcraft.
So i have wine and two isos of game.
Installation success without any problems but when im try to lounch it he tell me something about "No CD in drive man"

then i correct my wine settings to set my folder with mounted iso and then it works but very slow :/
After that all i found this topic and try to install sclinux but he give me that error message :
