Is anyone familiar with squid as a web caching software i have used it as a proxy server and to cache requests coming into the office but i want to use it as a web cache to serve our website to the internet cache the static pages and let the dynamic one go through to the application

Yes, squid can be used as a web cache, and documentation on it is easily available on their web site here http://www.squid-cache.org/ . You just have to set it up to cache what you want.

Is it possible for me to cache pages which is served to 3 different set of users i.e
Users in U.K get the rates served in pounds
Users in USA get it in Dollars
Users in Europe get in in Euro
We use a who is to determine which continent is browsing before serving the page.
