source viewer for opera 7.54

I don't suppose anyone know's how I'd set up a source viewer for opera 7.54 ?

I've had a go at setting it via tool's>preferences>paths and programmes. The default is xedit, which I don't seem to have installed (don't follow why, as surely it'd be something that install's by default?), and I've tried browsing to emacs and vim but neither (or anything else for that matter) seem's to want to start one of the app's to run as a source viewer for website's/html pages etc

Hence any idea's much appreciated

regards

John
