software"evolution" doesn't connect after changing the passwords

I'm using linuxmint cinnamon 19.1
I've changed my passwords in 2 gmail accounts. The accounts are registered in evolution. Now it cannot connect. In the apps of smartphone and tablet the connection is without problem.

Well, did you change the password(s) in evolution?
What exactly does it say, what error message? Show us in full, no paraphrasing please.

Perhaps, goa-daemon --replace would help as described in the GNOME bug #751524?

ArchWiki lists links you have to follow in order to configure Evolution for use with Gmail, Google calendar and Google contacts. Among them, Gmail Help suggest removing the Gmail account from Evolution and re-adding it back.
