Slackware question


I have RH8 and 9 and want to try slackware or peanut linux on another HD i have, my system is not slow and old. Does slackware run XMMS, Mplayer and can i use it to browse the internet usefully? thanks

Slackware can do what any other distro can do or use. The only differences are what comes with it, how its maintained and packaged, etc. When it all comes down to it, all distros consist of the same thing in most cases, unless a distro has its own software included in it.
