Question Slackware 9.1 question

Its been a while since I have been on here, but my original install of 8.1 bit the dust and I have been using WinXP for the past couple of weeks. I tried switching to SUSE, but I couldn't get the FTP site to work. So, now I have returned to good old Slackware. Ok, enough of that, I was just wondering how stable 9.1 is, are the any major problems. Any help will be greatly appreciated

I'm running 'Slack-9 current' and it is more stable/dependable than any distro that I have ever used.

I guess it all depends on your configuration though.

I don't know about 9.1, but I'm using 9.0 and have found it to work wonderfully.

9.1 is very young, its in heavy development, you'd do better to get 9.0. Things aren't much older anyway. 90% of the packages are the same.

Thanks for the help, ill probably go get 9.0. On the other hand I have sucessfully gotten it up and running. Only a few minor problems, such as no sound, its on board sound on a intel board, it tries to load every i810 module there is, which is the correct mod, but none work. And Im just in the dark on the mouse which is a logitech optical usb using the ps/2 adapter. Any ideas on these 2 problems?
