It can't locate the via82c686 module because there is no module by that name, try "modprobe via82cxxx_audio" instead.

ok, this is what happened when i did lspci -vv:

00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel.Corp. 82801AA AC'97 Audio (rev 02)
Subsystem: Sony Corporation: Uknown device 80d6

I tried certain things, different things, nonoe of them worked, so i was wondering what i use to get my sound working??? any help would be appreciated.
