I have just install the apache server , but when start it " /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start " , it pop the message ""/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started " , can suggest how to config it ? thx.
You might start by looking in the error log. On Slackware, it's located in /var/log/apache. I don't know anything about fasf, never even heard of it (for that matter, I don't know where fasdf is, either). Anyway, that might give you (and us) a clue as to what's wrong.
How did you install apache, from source? Did part of the install include editing the httpd.conf file? Give us a little more info.
Didi you configure your apache ?go to /etc/httpd/httpd.conf and see that everything is OK for your machine...and the hostanames...Ips....everything..tthan save it and try to start the HTTPD server ;]..
