service [package] start|status|restart... yiedls no response.


I am trying to run the cmd

service hostapd start

when I do this nothing happens, the terminal prompt goes to the next line ready for more the next separate bash cmd.

what could be the problem?

Nothing.

Most scripts/commands do not output anything if completed successfully. Have you verified if hostpad is running?
