SWAT status page missing START/STOP/RESTART buttons

a while back i noticed that the swat status page on my ubuntu 9.04 server system lost the start/stop/restart buttons for smbd, nmbd, and winbindd.

i suspect it was due to an update to swat via aptitude, but i can find no information on the matter. did the swat team decide to remove that functionality?

has anyone else run across this problem? if so, how can i get back those buttons?

samba, smb, smbd, status, swat, ubuntu904
