OK.. I'm trying to find a way so a user can ONLY access there home directory.. The only need read/write access to that directory none else.. Is there a simple way of doing this?

To do this you need to edit your vsftpd.conf
Add 'chroot_list_enable YES' to the config file.
Then add the list of users to /etc/vsftpd.chroot_list.
Restart vsftpd and you should be good to go.

These configuration directives are found in the vsftpd.conf manfile

Hope this helps.
